Summer may be coming to an end in September, but don’t get to thinking that the city is going to slow down just because we’re transitioning into Autumn. Far from it. If you’re visiting the city in September, you’ll have a whole host of events to look forward to, including the return of an annual favourite, a chance to see Toronto from a different perspective, and a festival that’s all about thinking big -- and which features some huge names. How can you not love Oktoberfest? It’s one big, German-inspired festival that features music, dancing, and beer. It’s a lot of fun. This year sees the return of the ever-popular Oktoberfest in the Park event, which will take place at Canada’s Wonderland on September 14, 15, 21, and 22. Don’t miss it!
If you missed the first Open Streets event earlier in the summer, then fear not, you’ll have another chance in September. During the event, which takes on Sunday, September 15, there will be more than 7km of downtown streets closed to vehicles. Head down, and do something people rarely get to do safely: walk in the middle of the roads.
The speakers who are going to be involved in Elevate 2019 say everything you need to know about the event: Michele Obama, Chris Hadfield, and Guy Kawasaki, to name but three. The event, which takes place from September 20 - 26, is not to be missed.
After all that fun, there’s only one place you’ll want to return to the best hotel in Toronto. At the Super 5 Inn Toronto, you can enjoy spacious, comfortable accommodations that are nearby to all of the city’s highlights. We also offer free parking, wifi, and 24/7 front desk assistance, too.
